2025 Sneaker Soiree Highlights!
On Sunday, April 27th, 2025, CJDS hosted its Annual Celebration and Silent Auction – an unforgettable evening filled with community, connection, and celebration.
This special event will brought together over 250 members of the community to honor the school’s achievements and foster a sense of unity.
We celebrated the remarkable accomplishments of CJDS, honor Dr. Gina Freeman, and raised funds through our ticket sales, sponsorship and silent auction.
The support, whether through donating an item or service to our silent auction or making a financial contribution, directly benefits CJDS. Donations help fund our tuition assistance program, advance our STEM initiatives, and ensure a lasting impact on the future of our school.

Our 2025 Honoree
Dr. Gina Freeman has been an integral part of Columbus Jewish Day School since its founding, serving as a dedicated educator, mentor, and advocate for students.
As a founding faculty member and former Dean of Students, she has shaped the heart of CJDS with her unwavering commitment to whole-child, learner-centered education. Dr. Freeman holds a Doctorate, Master’s, and Bachelor’s of Science in Education from The Ohio State University, along with multiple teaching and administrative licenses.
A military veteran awarded the Medal of Merit, she embodies leadership, resilience, and compassion. Her impact on students, families, and colleagues is immeasurable. Gina is retiring at the close of this school year, and while her presence in an official capacity will be deeply missed, her legacy will continue to inspire our community. We are honored to celebrate Dr. Freeman’s incredible contributions at the 2025 Sneaker Soiree and wish her the very best in her next chapter.
